In 2018 Blandford Scout Group created a community event, painting rocks to share! January 2019 this is still growing strong and Blandford Beavers have replenished stocks
The Yuletide festival this year made a profit of £133.40. Thank you to everyone that helped before, during and after
Pantomime was brilliant at the Lighthouse Poole, December 2018. 47 Scouters, young and older were laughing and joining in... FUN TIMES!!
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts made decorations in their section meetings. Lodge Leaders, Sixers and Patrol Leaders came to Church to help set up and decorate our tree... it looked brilliant!!
The outgoing Mayor, Cllr Peter Clark presented a cheque for £2500 for Blandford Scout Group from funds raised throughout his Mayoral year. We thank Peter for all his hard work and for coming to support us at other Scouting events throughout the year!
In the summer of 2020, 144 Explorers, and 30 leaders are going to Tanzania to work on up to 6 community projects (such as hospital and schools) in remote and rural locations.
Maddy, a Young Leader in our Scout Section has been selected to go. We wish Maddy well on her very exciting adventure!!
